Day 11 of Travel 8/25

We woke up to sunshine! Yeah!! We drove down the rest of the Oregon coast, where we climbed down to the ocean. We saw our first surfer of the trip. Once we arrived at our campsite in Patrick's Point State Park - near Red Woods National & State Parks. Our campsite is overlooking the Pacific Ocean, which is very relaxing to hear the waves as we sleep. We were able to view the sunset overlooking a bluff to the ocean. What a difference a day makes! Overall, we've had awesome camping weather!

the coastline looks the same when we were there (1978) (Oregon is a beautiful state)

Beautiful picutres! The boys were sad to see JoBu leave. He slept at the foot of Matt's bed every night. Saturday we made water balloons outside and JoBu had fun drinking water from the hose. When Bridget picked him up, he had 3 raw hides left and one bone. The boys gave him lots of treats :)

OH MY GOD! This totally sounds like our honeymoon trip to AZ, they flew us to Chicago on a prop jobber during a massive snow storm..I thought we were going to die in a plane crash...then when we got to Chicago we found out our flight was cancelled and had to rent a car to drive back to Milw..the cars windshield wipers failed and Brian had to wipe slush/rain off the windshield with the tissue I was using to wipe the tears off my face! All the way to Mlw! Yikes, your story is too familiar! AmyB
