Alana turned 6 months old on Tuesday, April 8th! She is getting so big and strong. She began sitting up by herself on April 3rd and really is enjoying it. She usually will go for an hour or so playing in the pack n play. We have learned this is going to be the best way to keep her lick-free from our furry friends. Alana has decided that she will not be rolling over anytime so for us. Shawn still claims that she rolled over twice when I was at the gym but since her Mommy didn't see it, it didn't happen. At Alana's 6 month check up her doctor called her lazy since she has all the muscle strength to roll but simply chooses not to. I believe that she has her parent's attitude that she will do things when she wants and not when others want her to. Also at that doctor appointment, she weighed in at 14.4 lbs (20%) and was 25" inches long (25%). She is babbling away and just last night noticed that she is cutting her first tooth. She is not a fan of eating solids quite yet but slowly is working on cereal, a few veggies and fruit

The Bumbo is a safer spot for now.
